Gisela Sandoval once again led the Lady Lions in their second appearance this season.  Ennis finished 6th out of the 6 team field with 130 points.

Stoney Duke led the boys squad again this week.  The Lions finished 3rd with 96 points out of 13 squads.

Sergio Chairez finished the boys 3,000 meter race in a time of 14:37, but out of the placing.

The Lady Lions JV XC squad ran well this weekend, placing 7th out of 14 teams.

Prisma Guttierez completed the course in 14:57 (9th), followed by Leslie Jacquez in 16:32 (23rd).  Monica Guerrero (32nd) continues to improve finishing in 17:34 with Ja’yla Pace (39th) coming in 18:37, Sandra Rico in 18:43 (41st), Deisy Diaz in 19:21(42nd) and Zitlaly Garcia in 19:37 (48th).  The Ennis JV girls squad finished 5th out of 13 teams with 107 points.

On the junior high side Ennis entered two competitors.  Juventino Sandoval finished 10th with a time of 11:49 for the 3000 meter course and Olivia Rodriguez on the girls side finished in 16:14 (30th).

The Ennis Lions Cross-Country team will next travel south to the Sam Houston Region III XC Preview meet on Saturday.
