Lady Lions fall short against Whitehouse

Parents Night Lady Lions come up short against Whitehouse.  The Lady Lions played district foe Whitehouse losing in three games. 14-25, 15-25, and 23-25.  The third game showed the Lady Lions put their best foot forward.  Emily Hull and Miah Washington led the Ennis volleyballers in all three games. 7th Grade A team works hard in long match against Frank Seale

A team fought hard in a long 1st game and came out on top 26-24. In games 2 and 3 the team saw improvement in their flow of the game. Emily Gilstrap started the Lady Lions off strong in game 2 with 7 straight serves. Even through improvement the Lady Lions did not come out on

7th Grade B Team falls to Midlothian Frank Seale

Ennis JV Wallops Whitehouse 48-12

The Ennis JV team defeated Whitehouse in the district opener 48-12 Thursday night at Wildcat Stadium. With the win, the JV is in the hunt for the district championship. The JV Lions are on the road next Thursday night (October 13th) as the square off with the Lindale Eagles at 6:00 PM.

Freshman White Falls to Whitehouse 14-6

The Freshman White team fell to Whitehouse 14-6 in their first game of district action.  The Lions played well and fought hard but fell short in the end. The Freshman White team will host the Lindale Eagles next thursday (October 13th) at 5:30 PM.

Freshman Maroon Defeats Whitehouse 44-13

The Ennis Lions freshman maroon team opened district play against the Whitehouse Wildcats thursday night at Lion Stadium.  The Lions cruised to a decisive 44-13 victory to place themselves in the race for the district championship. The Lions will host the Lindale Eagles next thursday night (October 13th) at 7:00 PM.  

Golf Competes at The Old Brickyard Invitational

Pierce Tignor 11th, Hayden Sibley 11th, Sarah Bell 9th, Alec Cabezas 9th, Logan Satterwhite 11th, Back row Chase Newsom 11th, Justin Mraz 10th competed at The Old Brickyard Invitational. They compete next Oct. 18 in Burleson at Southern Oaks.

Lady Lions Dominate!

The Lady Lions Varsity Volleyball Squad swept the visiting district opponent in 3 straight games.  Led by an all around team performance the Lady Lions bested the visitors from Jacksonville high school.  Perhaps playing their best volleyball of the season the Lady Lions came together in all areas of the game.
