Lady Lions finish 3rd in District 17-5A Track and Field Championships

Day two was another outstanding day for the Lady Lions Track and Field team who came in third with 108 points. Alyssa Noel became the first Ennis athlete to win all three distance events in a single district meet.  She won the 3200 on day one with a time of 12:33.789.  On the second day

The 8th Grade Boy Lions ran with diligence and grit all afternoon.  The Lions were lead by their captain David Lorea.  Lorea started the 8th grade running events by smoking the competition in the 2400 Meters.  He finished his season very strong by taking 2nd in the 1600 Meters. Varsity Girls Kennedale Results

Ennis Varsity girls finished with 31 points.  Leading the way was Katherine Stuckly who cleared a personal best at 5′ 9″ in the high jump.  Stuckly also finished 2nd in the 100 meter hurdles in a time of 16.33. and in the 300 intermediate hurdles she finished 5th in a season best of 49.84.  Alyssa

8th Grade Boys Track 3/30

The 8th grade boy throwers continue to carry this unit.  Clayton Jenkins won the shot put event again and Jacobie Collins and Camden Riley finished 2nd & 3rd respectively.  The Lions look to finish the track season strong as they compete for a district championship on 4/3 & 4/4.
