Girls Basketball Academic All-State Honors

Audrey Beakley and Shimari Adams have earned Academic All-State Honors from the Texas Girls Coaches Association and the Texas High School Coaches Association.  Audrey received 2nd Team Academic All-State from the THSCA, and Shimari received Honorable Mention.  Congratulations ladies!

Ross Earns All-Region and All-State Honors

Tyquanna Ross has been named to the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches All-Region and All-State Team.  The Lady Lion Senior and Hill College signee averaged 18 points and 9 rebounds.  Tyquanna was also named the District 14-5A MVP this season.  As a junior, Ross was named the 17-5A MVP and made the TABC All-Region Team. Tyquanna Ross earned her 2nd consecutive District MVP Award.  Last year, Ross was named MVP of District 17-5A.  This year, she was named MVP of District 14-5A.  She averaged 18 points and 9 rebounds for the Lady Lions.
